I was this asked this question on facebook today:
Q. Hi Sandra, is it possible you could post something about Practical Energy Management (re: the 4-part series of conferences calls that you’ve been hosting) & how one doing that ‘internal’ work can impact/benefit/relate to external things like: world peace; the environment; the Occupy movement; & the matter regarding oil dependence/related issues in the world such as better energy management / different energy usage; search for / using alternative energy; ‘Post Carbon’ meetup groups / discussions; Transition Towns, reducing CO2 emissions, etc.?

A. There is a Universal Law – As within, so without. You may have also heard people mention ‘Our thoughts create our realities’. This Universal Law shows us that our outside world is a reflection, not only of our actions ( carbon footprint, etc) – it also is a reflection of ourselves. As we clean up our own energy fields and find balance and harmony, so this consciousness is also reflected in our outside world. In Practical Energy Management, we learn that we are all connected, our own energy fields are affected by outside factors – whether we find something harmonious or dissonant. Techniques are shared to restore harmony and become heart centered and by becoming heart centered we can more readily use and act upon our intuition.This in turn, helps keep us in a state of balance and harmony. For generations many have been operating from a system of separation: separation from each other and separation from Source. An inspiring film I watched this week ” I AM” follows the journey where Tom Shadyac finds the heart, not the brain is man’s (and woman’s) primary organ of intelligence. People in the healing arts have been working from this premise for eons, it is great to see this concept becoming more widely accepted. In the movie he shows a bowl of yogurt reacting to his thoughts, an actual scientific experiment. This is great validation for Practical Energy Management – clean up ourselves and we clean up the world, by our thoughts, actions and deeds. I remember in one channeling of the Ascended Masters when the question was posed to the group : “What do you want? ” One lady replied “world peace” . The Master I was channeling at the time then said : “If that is the case, why did you start that fight with your husband this morning?” The lady was astonished. Stop our own fighting and watch the world get more peaceful.

I feel our bodies tell our history, history of our lifestyle, diet etc. As we change those factors we see our bodies change. Some things can change in an instant, we call those ‘miracles’ because we may have believed those things are either unchangeable or need to take way more time to change. Other situations may take longer to correct themselves. The world as it is today is also history – history of use and abuse. As we focus on what is right in the world – pro-peace versus anti-war so we bring about more positive change. We are the change! An example of how these changes are already occurring is documented in films by The Paradigm Shift ProJect Organization: http://www.theparadigmshiftproject.org. In these films people show they are coming from a heart based world connected space. We cannot come from this place with authenticity and efficacy if our own energy systems are distorted and depleted. The way I see it, it is a matter of “Physician heal thyself” and the world heals. Food for more thought.

December is a wonderful month, holidays coming up, seeing friends, eating lots of good food,reconnecting with family… ’tis the season to be jolly, as the carol goes. True for many.
For some, December can be a somewhat challenging month, working hard, not enough time off, tallying up the expenses, trying to figure out how to juggle family commitments, crowds in stores, the list goes on.

Season’s Greetings of Peace Joy and Love

Have you ever felt like you belong somewhere else? Have you wondered why you chose to be human? Do you feel ‘homesick’? Missing ‘family’? Do you have a hard time understanding why others behave in an unkind fashion? You may be a Starseed. Here is another timely message. I invite you to listen to this channeling and see if this message resonates with you. Message to Starseeds 1

During these changing times, we are hearing about so many different events and shifts. Some are very positive, others foretell doom and gloom. Finances are on the minds of most people as we see countries in trouble, banks pulling in reins. Whilst many are openly supporting Change for the better, others are apprehensive of what the future holds. How do we stay centered and calm when the future appears to be so uncertain? Let us look at ‘care’ and ‘caution’:

According to dicitionary. com,
Care is defined as
1. a state of mind in is trouble; worry, anxiety, or concern: He was never free from care.
2.a cause of worry, anxiety, concern, etc.: Their son has always been a great care to them.
3.serious attention; solicitude; heed; caution: She devotes great care to her work.
4.protection; charge: He is under the care of a doctor.

Interesting how there are both positive and negative charges to the same word, assuming worry is in the negative department.

Caution is defined as:
1.alertness and prudence in a hazardous situation; care; wariness: Landslides ahead—proceed with caution.
2.a warning against danger or evil; anything serving as a warning: By way of caution, he told me the difficulties I would face.

To me, the phrase ‘take care’ has far less charge than the word ‘caution’. Take care to me means “be aware, be mindful”. Being cautious has as element of fear attached to it. How about you?

The advice guides are giving these days and all along as far as I can remember is “Be aware”. I do not receive messages that say “ Beware!”

As you allow yourself to listen to the intuition of your heart, you may get ideas, feelings, ‘messages’ that guide you to be aware of certain situations in your life. As you pay attention and use this intuition, things have a way of working out.
Listening to brain based ideas may lead you to the “Beware!” department, depending on your state of mind. These ‘beware’ moments are to be welcomed for they give us the opportunity to grow and change. As we dissolve our worries and fears and we expand our awareness and become heart based, we grow in our steadfastness, our ability to be in the flow, to be calm even in the midst of chaos! As we allow ourselves to relax into the flow of our divine path, magic happens and events unfold in ways that may be totally unexpected and beyond the realms of our imagination. As 11.11.11. approaches and portals open even more, are you allowing yourself to step into the Divine You?

Many say what goes around comes around. This applies to good deeds as well as unwanted events. This morning I was on facebook and someone had mentioned on her wall that a person had pulled up all the flowers from her relatives’ grave and thrown them all around. Postings followed filled with indignation, anger, “they’ll get what’s coming to them’ type of energy. All very natural under these circumstances. Reading this post reminded me of the time that someone stole the Christmas decorations from our baby’s grave. I had a hard time believing someone could stoop that low! Her much more enlightened father said to me “ You know Sandra, Kirsten doesn’t need these where she is. Perhaps the people who took it could not afford a tree.” This shifted me to a whole new place, away from anger, wanting justice to prevail or a heavy heart filled with sorrow. Instead I chose to see a family around that little tree, enjoying it. And I stopped myself from buying into more karma! Would I have taken away something from that person in a future life? Or had I already done that and was this payback? We will never know for sure. All I do know is that I was no longer upset by the incident when I looked at it in a different Light.
Back to the flowers around the grave in that facebook post: they didn’t even take the flowers, they were just scattered all around. They were WASTED! Or were they? There was no camera there to record the incident. Had children been playing and tossing them around, dancing? Was it a raccoon or other animal foraging? We aren’t sure. It is so easy to assume the worst. So, let’s assume the worst. Some vandals came along, didn’t care at all and were bent on damage and destruction! Okay, that is really upsetting. What can be done? Call the police to patrol the area? Ask if anyone saw anything? What can be DONE TO THEM? Well, how about clearing yourself first? Clear the shock and upset. Did that trigger something? In my case I remembered about my own incident and it did not upset me, showing me I no longer had any unwanted feelings attached to that episode. We can care about something and stay centered when we have cleared the trauma around similar circumstances.
The Heart Metta Protocol I developed usually works for these sorts of upsets if you get thrown off centre. After clearing yourself, can you find it in your heart to be forgiving and send them a blessing? Here is a simple blessing: May you be happy, may you be well, may you be free from suffering. May you be filled with self-knowledge. After all, if they were wise and self- actualized they would not be vandals. And you just saved yourself from getting caught up in a wheel of ‘payback/ I need to understand this situation from a different perspective’ Karma. Freedom from the unending karmic wheel we create on a daily basis. Namaste.
